Hello lovely people! August has struck with another fantastic readathon and even though I'm heading back to school on Saturday, I still had to participate! I even asked my sister if she wanted to join (her post will be up on her blog sometime tomorrow) so I'm super excited to get started. 

Even though I'll be spending most of the week packing and cleaning and prepping for another year of college I somehow still managed to come up with quite an impressive TBR...

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly Rubidoux Apple. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 20th and runs through Sunday, August 26th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. I have been holding onto these two books ever since I picked them up from my library during BookTubeAThon earlier this month. While I've been super excited to get to both, I just never actually started either so I guess I've been waiting for now?

I have been anticipating Spinning Silver ever since I heard it was coming out so this is probably the first book I'm going to be diving into and I'm honestly so excited I can't even put it into words.

 I picked up the Last Magician because I've heard a lot of fantastic things about it and also cause the sequel is coming out in October so if I end up loving this one I don't have to wait long. I don't know too much about it but it's got magic. thieves, and cool snake thing on the cover (adequate reasoning I know).

I've been on the waiting list for To All the Boys I've Loved Before for practically the whole summer and the hold just came through today. I actually read this way back when it was slated to be a standalone and didn't love it as much as everyone seemed to (which was a bit disheartening). However, with the release of the Netflix movie I've felt that itch to give it another try and what better way than with audio?

I also picked up Assasin's Heart on a whim a couple days ago because I was placing another audiobook request and found that this was also narrated by Khristine Hvam who narrated the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy and who is one of my favorite narrators. While I haven't heard much about this book in particular and I'm usually ridiculously slow when it comes to audiobooks, I thought I'd add this on the list cause you never know...with all that packing maybe I'll be able to whiz through these.

The final book on my TBR is one that I've owned on my iPad for a while and just never got to it. One of my favorite booktuber is Katherine from Katherine's Reads and she loves this series. I recently was rewatching her Stolen Songbird videos and decided that I would bump this one up my TBR in hopes that I can get to it somewhat soon so I thought I'd throw the first book on the list and maybe I'll get to it.

That's my list! I'm quite excited to get to all of these to be honest so hopefully things go smoothly.
